Request a temporary advisor code

Before you submit your first insurance application, you need to get a temporary advisor code. You have to provide the following information:

• Your first and last names
• Your phone number
• Your email address
• Your life and health insurance sales licence
• Your proof of liability insurance
• The name or code of your managing general agent or financial centre

Fill out this email template and send it to your contracting team so they can forward your request to us.

Within 4 business days, you’ll receive a temporary advisor code by email that is valid for 6 months. This email will also include the procedure to securely log in to Webi.

Submit your first application

Once you’ve logged in to Webi, you’ll have access to several features, including:

• Insurance illustration tool that let you create scenarios and calculate premiums
• E-application for submitting applications for instant approval and making secure payments
• Pending Business tool to track insurance applications

Use your temporary code to submit your first insurance application.

Finalize your contracting arrangement

This is an essential step if you wish to continue doing business with Desjardins Insurance.

After submitting your first insurance application, ask your contracting team to submit a contract application through APEXA, indicating the contract number of your first insurance application.

This will allow you to finalize your contracting request so you can receive sales commissions.

 

Important: If you don’t complete this step, your status will continue on a temporary basis only.
Make sure your team has completed the APEXA application to formalize your status as a Desjardins Insurance advisor.
