Desjardins Insurance is pleased to announce the appointment of Brent Swatuk, CLU, CHS, as Vice-President, Independent Sales & Distribution. Brent previously held the position of Regional Vice-President, Sales, Ontario within the organization, and will continue to oversee these responsibilities in addition to his new role. This appointment follows the retirement of Yves L. Giroux, whom we thank for his commitment and significant contribution to business development over the years.
With more than 20 years of experience in the industry, Brent brings strong expertise in advisor support, advanced planning, and business development. He has held strategic roles at Canada Life and Equitable, where he contributed to the development of marketing, underwriting, and strategies for specialized markets. Known for his collaborative approach and ability to build lasting relationships, he will help support growth across Canada.
